Game of Skate at Crestline Skatepark

From a Rim Communities for Youth press release:

Game of Skate!

California Highway Patrol, the Twin Peaks Sheriff Station, Rim Family Services, Rim Communities for Youth, Lake Gregory Recreation Company, and many more awesome community partners are putting on the newest BBQ skate event at the Crestline Skatepark!

Crestline CA, July 15, 2019: Come enjoy the newest “Game of Skate” event on July 18th from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm at the Crestline Skatepark. There will be a free hot dog BBQ, giveaways, and of course PLENTY of skateboarding! This event is completely free to the community!

In September of 2014, several community stakeholders met and discussed solutions to some of the problems plaguing the local Crestline Skatepark. So many awesome resolutions were brought to the table, one of which included continuing the Game of Skate events at the park, increasing a positive presence there! Some of the agencies that attended this meeting included the Lake Arrowhead CHP, our local Twin Peaks Sheriff’s station, the Rim Communities Resource Network, the Mountain Boys and Girls Club, Rim Family Services, the Rim Communities For Youth Coalition, along with representation from the Lake Arrowhead Rotaries, Board of Education, Church of Science Technology, and a RHS teacher. All these and many more are fighting to take-back this park and create a safe, fun environment for our community’s youth to recreate.

Come be a positive presence at the park with us! Bring your kids, have fun, and skate! For more information, feel free to call Rim Family Services at (909) 336-1800
