At 12:23 am, a 911 caller reported that a vehicle had crashed in Waterman Canyon. The vehicle then erupted into flames and caught the surrounding vegetation on fire. The driver and passenger were transported to a local area hospital. Waterman Canyon was closed for 3 hours and the fire was extinguished in less than an hour. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Full video report below.
