At 3:29 Pm on Sunday March 21st a call went in to 911 dispatch reporting a vehicle that slammed into an apartment in Big Bear Lake on Club View near Bear Mtn ski resort. Originally the call came out, patients trapped needing extrication. First units arrived on scene and determined it was non injury and occupants self extricated. A white Jeep Wrangler Rubicon jumped stairs and a deck and ended up in the front room of a vacation rental. The lower rental was unoccupied at the time of the crash. Fire personnel used air bags and wood ramps to remove the vehicle from the apartment. The cause of the crash is under investigation at this time by Big Bear Lake Sheriff Department.
