At 530 Pm on December 4th multiple calls went into 911 reporting a structure fire on Beaver Lane in Big Bear Lake. Medic Truck 281 from Big Bear Lake arrived on scene first to Flames showing from a 2 story building. The residence consisted of of 3 separate apartments. Multiple engines arrived on scene and the fire was knocked down in about 20 minutes. Fire crews were able to hold the fire to the building and no other near by houses or vegetation was impacted. The exact cause of the fire is under investigation at this time. It appears the fire started in the down stairs apartment. All occupants were able to get out without any injuries. One resident was seen carrying a dog from the building. Big Bear fire Department will be handling the investigation and we expect a press release from them in the next few days.
