Mountain Transit held the 2018 “Fill the Trolley” Food Drive to collect for for local families in need. Local residents who made donations qualified to recieve a round trip pass. Those donations helped local service organizations and local families in need. Mountain Transit has received a grant from LTCOP and will match any donation made. An added benefit is that bus passes will also be made available for those families as well, to help them get access to the transportation they need.

Malia Dietz was in Big Bear and Robert Callis was in Crestline to bring you the story of how Mountain Transit is working to help take care of the mountain communities.

  1. How do you get help with the free bus passes? I am disabled and on social security. Most of my social security goes for rent and I don’t always have money for the bus and cannot walk more then a block or two because of disabilities.
