Close call for Motorcycle rider

At 3:40 Pm on Saturday May 30th a motorcycle was traveling down bound Highway 18 thru artic circle at Glory Ridge when it collided with a ford ranger traveling up bound highway 18. According to occupants the motorcycle was at the end of the passing lane when a jeep hugged the yellow line and didn’t allow for the motorcycle to merge back into the lane. It then forced the motorcycle over the center yellow line and it collided with the rear end drivers side of the Ford ranger. Medics from station 281 Big Bear Lake checked the rider for injuries and he declined transport. California Highway Patrol is conducting their investigation. A Performance arrived on scene to recover the motorcycle. After this story was published we were contacted by the riders mother. We are adding to this post his social media post.
