A solo vehicle crashed into a tree Sunday night, February 17th on North Shore and Division Drive in Big Bear Lake.

A dark midsized SUV was traveling on North Shore Drive just east of Division. For unknown reasons, the vehicle lost control and slid off the road and rested up against a tree. Big Bear Fire Authority from Station 282 arrived on scene to find the occupied vehicle had one injured child. Its unclear if that child was transported or not. Although it appears weather contributed to the crash, conditions were icy and snowy at the time.

The cause of this accident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
