Charles Hoffman Elementary Parent-Teacher Association Fall Festival

Charles Hoffman Elementary (CHE) in Running Springs held its annual Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Fall Festival on Saturday. More than 200 students, family members and friends attended the popular event.

The Halloween-themed festival included candy, food, crafts, games, prizes, a haunted house, and a silent auction for gift baskets donated by local businesses. All of the proceeds for the events go to the CHE PTA which provides funds for school activities throughout the year.

Running Springs Fire Department, CalFIRE Engine 3556, and USFS Engine 311 provided static displays of their equipment and challenged festival-goers to shoot a hockey goal for candy. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Citizens on Patrol from the Twin Peak Station where there as always to answer questions.
