At approximately 3:45 p.m. CHP responded to a hit and run collision along Tyrol Drive in Crestline. The incident occurred when a gold sedan driving on the left side of the road collided head-on with a white SUV.

The motorist of the gold sedan—described as a middle-aged, blonde female in shorts and blue tank top—attempted to drive their vehicle from the scene. When unsuccessful, the motorist fled the scene on foot.

Local CHP pursued leads on the motorist’s whereabouts and a suspect is currently in custody.

While the impact of the crash was enough to cause the gold sedan’s airbags to deploy, there were no reported injuries.

  1. I’m glad it wasn’t serious but this stuff is happening way to often if you live here clean up your act if u don’t stay home

  2. I know the driver of the gold car. She is a repeat offender of driving drunk and wrecking other people’s cars. She keeps getting aesy with breaking the law. Is this scenario a felony with Jail Time? Did she get arrested? She will continue to do this. I hope no one gets killed. She is a menace to our mountain & community. Parents & all residents beware of this crazy lunatic blonde with a accent
