Shortly before midnight on March 27th, 2019, CHP units responded to reports of a solo vehicle accident which left the involved vehicle upside down on the right shoulder of the roadway.
The accident occurred on Big Bear Blvd near Barranca Blvd in Big Bear City. Big Bear Fire crews from Station 283 in Sugarloaf arrived on scene to find a female occupant still in the overturned vehicle.
After she was extricated, the female driver was transported to the hospital. San Bernadino Sheriff Deputies from the Big Bear Station were on scene awaiting the arrival of California Highway Patrol units who arrived shortly thereafter.
The road remained open to alternating traffic for a short period. The cause of this rollover accident is under investigation at this time.
