Commuters Can Expect Delays in the Little Arctic Circle for the Next Three Weeks

CalTrans will begin emergency slope repairs in the Little Arctic Circle in Big Bear on Monday

CalTrans District 8 has issued a press release indicating that the Little Arctic Circle has sustained slope damage and it will need to be repaired on an emergency basis. Therefore, one-way flagging operations and intermittent 30 minute closures will begin Monday, March 11th for repairs to commence. This work will last approximately three weeks and may be delayed by adverse weather.

Commuters are advised to use alternate routes. When driving in the area please reduce your speed, follow instructions given by flagmen and watch out for construction crews and equipment.
