Letter From Snow Valley Addressing Closure

Message from Our Vice President & General Manager

Dear Valued Snow Valley Guests:
Unfortunately, due to road closures caused by recent storm damage, Snow Valley Mountain Resort will be closed through the President’s Day Weekend and likely longer, based on Caltrans’ estimates for the completion of repair work on Highway 18. There is currently no highway access to the ski area.

We are refunding any orders for tickets already placed for this weekend via our website (http://Snow-Valley.com) as well as providing a complimentary voucher for each product purchased as a good will gesture. Details will be emailed tonight to applicable Guests who purchased tickets via our website and refunds will be processed as soon as possible for orders through Monday, February 18 and as needed thereafter depending on the length of the closure. Additionally, Snow Valley season passes will be honored by Mountain High Resort beginning Saturday, February 15th through the reopening of Snow Valley. In anticipation of a brief closure we will not be entertaining refund requests for our non-refundable season passes or 4-pack or 6-pack purchases at this time.

Snow Valley is having a monumental snow year, our conditions have never been better, and we look forward to welcoming back skiers, snowboarders and sledders as soon as our access road reopens and our guests can arrive safely. The security, comfort and safety of our guests and employees have always been top priorities and key to our success throughout our nearly 81 years of operation. We appreciate the efforts of Caltrans we encourage everyone interested to stay up to date with the status of the resort’s reopening by visiting http://Snow-Valley.com and its social media pages.

Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions or concerns via email (ksomes@snow-valley.com).

Regards,

Kevin Somes

Vice President & General Manager

  1. I look forward to Highway 18 being repaired so that my daughter Jennifer can get back to work at Snow Valley Mountain Resort.
