The Mountains Community Hospital Foundation’s 2018 year-end campaign has officially ended, and because of the generosity of our supporters, we raised nearly $100,000! We also welcomed 22 new people to our family of donors. Your gifts are an inspiration to us all and they allow us to continue to assist the hospital with its many needs. We will be writing grants to help us complete the purchase of the items you donated towards, and we will keep you updated on our progress.
We are looking forward to another great year and many new improvements at the hospital. MCH has served the community well over the past 68 years. Due to the changing landscape of healthcare, new regulations, and the needs of our patients, it’s time to revamp and revitalize parts of the campus. Some of the improvements will include:
Outpatient Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation expansion
Inpatient Pharmacy expansion and relocation
Gift Shop expansion and relocation
Inpatient Physical Therapy renovation
Solarium renovation
Skilled Nursing Facility renovation
These changes will make our hospital more functional and comfortable, while also making it more modern and attractive. We will try to move these projects along as quickly as possible, however, many of the projects taking place within the hospital are subject to State and/or County approval, so permitting and approval delays are anticipated. We are also moving forward with the design and permitting for the new parking structure and Willerth Education Center.
