Where on the Mountain Can We Watch the Superbowl this Year?

It’s Super Bowl weekend! And I am here to help make the decision of where to watch the big game a no brainer. There are many local businesses showing the game and offering some delicious deals! I have compiled a list of local restaurants for you to stop by and get your dose of the Big Game.

The Lakefront Tap Room- Lake Arrowhead Village

28200 Highway 189, Lake Arrowhead

As per tradition, the Lakefront Tap Room will be dishing out some special hotdogs based on the city the championship teams are from. For the New England fans they will be offering a chili dog with boston baked beans, and for the Rams fans they will be offering a LA Street dog with a bacon wrapped frank and topped with jalapeños. The Lakefront Tap Room will also be offering $2 Sam Adams or $2 Modelo to pair with your meal. The seating will be first come first serve so get there early to secure your spot!

Papagayos- Lake Arrowhead Village

A locals favorite, Papagayos is always a great place to watch the game. The seating is limited and will be first come first serve so if you’re planning on watching the game here make sure you plan ahead. Papagayos will be offering Happy Hour for the duration of the game. Happy Hour includes half-off appetizers, and $1 off beer, wine, house margaritas, flavored margaritas, and wells.

Lake Arrowhead Village Pizza Deli- Lake Arrowhead Village

If you’re looking for a place to gather with all of your friends and family to watch the Super Bowl, look no further. Surrounded by amazing sports memorabilia, delicious pizza, $3 ice cold domestic beer, and a one of a kind view of the lake. Spend your whole day surrounded by sports fans and enjoy one of the best environments for game day. Also, if you plan on staying home for the game give the Deli a call and they will deliver a hot and fresh hand-tossed pizza straight to your door.

Rim Bowling – Downtown Crestline

For a $20 per person entry fee, attendees are given food, t-shirts, drawings, games, along with having the football game broadcast on TVs around the building. With a bar upstairs and a bar downstairs, fresh pizza and bowling, you are sure to have a blast this Super Bowl when going to Rim Bowling.

Stockade Grub & Whiskey- Downtown Crestline

The well-known hot spot in Crestline, The Stockade is going to be serving appetizers and great drink specials for Super Bowl Sunday. Everyone is welcome but seating is going to be first come first serve so plan on arriving early to get your seat.

Dogwood Tavern – Blue Jay

With a full bar, pool tables, arcade games, food menu and a huge selection of beers, the dogwood Tavern never fails to succeed at providing an awesome party environment. Watch the super bowl on a number of TV screens while playing pool and enjoying awesome food!

The Bear Claw Saloon – Downtown Crestline

With a full bar serving beer and lots of cocktails, the Bear Claw Saloon features music and pool tables and is a great local place to watch the Super Bowl.

Celebrate Big Bear Style on Superbowl Sunday

Superbowl LIII is finally here and the forecast calls for snow! Whether you’re cheering on the LA Rams, Southern California’s new hometown team or staying true to the New England Patriots, it’s sure to be an exciting game in Atlanta on Sunday, February 3, 2019. Many of the bars and restaurants throughout Big Bear will have it airing and the drinks flowing. These are the top five local favorites and their Sunday Superbowl specials!

KALLANS Bar and Grill

There are plenty of big screens for your viewing pleasure and the party starts at 1 PM at Kallans Bar and Grill in Sugarloaf. They’ll have drink specials and urge you to walk or take a lift as parking is limited.

Sandy’s Sports Restaurant

Kicking off at 12pm, Sandy’s Superbowl party is broadcasting the game on the big screen and has beer and appetizer specials along with an amusing arcade for kids.

Nottinghams Restaurant

The Village will be busy with cheering fans and snow seeking visitors so make sure to get to Nottinghams early for the Superbowl extravaganza they’re throwing to support the Big Bear Historical Society. Upstairs the game will be projected onto a 10FT HD BIG SCREEN and there are pools to enter and prizes to win while you enjoy their first-rate food and drinks on special.

The Bone Yard Bar & Grill

560 Pine Knot Ave, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315

There are plenty of seats and big screen HD TVs airing the game, plus forty beers on tap for you to try while watching the Ram’s and Patriot’s battle it out at the Boneyard Bar & Grill in the Village.

Murray’s Saloon & Eatery

672 Cottage Ln, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315

If you’re looking to kick-off before the game, Murray’s Saloon & Eatery in the Village will be open at 9 AM and have food and drink specials going on all day! Superbowl LIII will be aired on all TVs at 3:30 PM, so come on down and get to know the locals.

Check out the Mountain Transit schedule for the weekend trolley available throughout Big Bear. Big Bear Taxi, Uber and Lyft will be busy but available for you to arrive and depart safely to and from the game of the year!
