Forecast for Crestline, Twin Peaks, Lake Arrowhead and the San Bernardino Mountains:

Good Morning.
Today we should see mostly clear skies for the Mountain region. An area of Low pressure to our North will slowly move out of the Great Basin today. This should give us a break from the thick Marine layer for today, and tomorrow morning. However, another Low will move onshore around the San Francisco Bay area later today.
This will likely bring showers to the Sierras and parts of NorCal for Thursday and Friday. Here, we will see the Marine Layer thicken up for Thursday night, and Friday morning as the area of Low pressure moves into the Great Basin. A Catalina Eddy will also form along the SoCal Coastal zone helping to deepen the Marine layer, and push it further onshore Friday morning into the IE, and Coastal Slopes of the San Bernardino Mountains.
We may see fog to the ~5000′ level Thursday night, and Friday morning, so plan on a little extra time for the morning commute. Temperatures through the weekend will remain mild as we will be in a Troughing pattern through the middle of next week. There is another stronger Low that will dive down the Coast of SoCal, Monday and Tuesday. There will be a slight chance for a shower from this system early next week. ??? This morning, there is very little fog along the SoCal Coastal region or Inland. Have a good day and enjoy the nice cool Mountain Weather. RC
