At 2:30 p.m. on 5/10/18, the California Highway Patrol received a report of an injury accident downbound on Kuffel Canyon Road, north of Highway 18. A grey Ford Focus and a white pickup truck were the descriptions given on the two vehicles involved.
The person driving the gray Ford Focus reported to the Highway Patrol that they had injuries to their hand.
The accident occurred near the Fire Station. 2 minutes after it was reported to the California Highway Patrol, CalFire Engine 35 was onscene.
The driver of the gray Ford Focus was taken to Mountain Community Hospital for sustained injuries.
