Today’s Forecast for Crestline, Twin Peaks, Lake Arrowhead and the San Bernardino Mountains:
05/04/2018.

Good Morning.

Today, and the for weekend, we will have very nice weather for the Mountain areas. Temperatures will be on the rise with highs today from the upper 60s to low 70s for all mountain locations. We have clear skies across almost all of California today even along the Coastal areas. High pressure will expand from over the Pacific Ocean to the entire West Coast. Temperatures will be very warm in the Valleys and Coastal areas, with highs expected to be from the low 80s to mid 90s for the weekend. Here we will see temperatures peak Saturday with highs expected to be in the mid 70s and maybe a few areas reaching 80*. Sunday’s weather will be much like Saturday with the exception of a few high clouds from a system to our North. Winds across the area will be light and variable, as the Desert areas heat up in the day, and cools at night, we will see the wind flow alternate from an onshore flow, to an offshore flow. Sunday the onshore flow will strengthen across the area as the Ridge of High pressure moves East and a more Zonal flow returns. Monday through mid week, low clouds and fog will return to the Coastal area and possibly into the IE along with cooler temperatures. A very Spring type pattern will be the forecast for next week. Enjoy the Mountain Weather, and don’t forget that the June 1st clean up date is fast approaching. RC
