At 10:44am, a 911 call was placed reporting a structure fire near Summit Drive in Running Springs. Before crews arrived on scene, citizens were able to keep the fire from spreading and had it mostly contained. Engine 50, and 51 arrived on scene and put out any remaining embers and flames and performed mop up operations.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, and upon initial inspection only superficial damaged was noticed to the structure.
