Caltrans is in the process of crack sealing on Highway 18 through most of the length of Rim Forest. One way traffic is being let through but delays are up to 20 minutes in length. The construction is expected to be completed by 4 pm.
The traffic control is affecting Highway 18, Pine Avenue, and access to the Valero station along with Bear Springs Road. The traffic backup extends from Rimforest past the high school at times and equally as far towards the stoplight. Motorists can take detour through blue jay to avoid the traffic congestion.
