Fire officials gathered with members of the community at Rim High School to discuss the FP-5 Service Zone Expansion.
The service zone expansion increases the number of properties and the subsequent taxes being paid to increase the annual revenue for County Fire.
It also abolishes all of the different tax rates for the different communities and makes it one level rate across all affected areas. In most cases it’s not even a ten dollar a month increase to ensure our fire departments have what they need to continue servicing our mountain.
