Forecast for Crestline, Twin Peaks, Lake Arrowhead and the San Bernardino Mountains.

Good Morning.
***THE EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING IS STILL IN EFFECT FOR OUR AREA THROUGH FRIDAY 9PM.***
Today we will continue to see very warm temperatures across all of the Inland SoCal region. Thunderstorms will be possible again over the Big Bear, and Green Valley Lake areas later today. Thunderstorms should become less likely for Friday and Saturday then pick up for Sunday through mid week, next week.
High pressure will remain at around the 596dm today then slowly weaken Friday and Saturday as it relocates a little North from where it is now. As it does, the circulation around the High will become more favorable for Monsoonal moisture to return to the SoCal Mountains and Desert areas Sunday through early next week. PWAT levels will increase during that time period which will also increase the chances for heavy downpours to accompany any T-Storms that do develop. Temperatures will begin to slowly cool beginning tomorrow but will remain above normal for this time of year for the next five days. The humidity levels should dry out for a couple days before the next round of Monson Moisture returns Sunday. RC
