Good Morning.
Lightning with rain in some areas, along with gusty winds from outflow boundaries, are all going on now as of 5am. A dying complex of Thunderstorms is moving across the area from the East. These will pass through by early this morning.
For the rest of today, we will continue to have clouds and possible Thunderstorms throughout the day. Flash Flooding will be possible today as T-Storms develop as there is plenty of available moisture in the area for heavy rain or downbursts to accompany any storms that do develop. Today we will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with slightly cooler temperatures. Winds will be gusty at times with rain possible throughout the day and into the evening hours. It looks like another wave will pass through late tonight or early tomorrow morning so the threat of T-Storms will last through Thursday.
Then High pressure will expand across all of the West bringing in warmer temperatures and a dryer air mass. The monsoonal air mass will move out of the area leaving only a slight chance for afternoon T-Storms in the mountain areas for the rest of the week. Enjoy! RC
