Forecast for Crestline, Twin Peaks, Lake Arrowhead and the San Bernardino Mountains:

Good Morning.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NANNY!

This morning we are back in the fog again. Currently as of 6am, we have fog from around 2500′ to 5400′ along the Rim. Lake Arrowhead, Crestline, Rim Forest, and parts of Running Springs all have some fog currently. Check the webcams on the website for live weather conditions across the mountain.
Drizzle can be expected on the local roads where there is fog. Today we should see some clearing by late this morning as the area of low pressure responsible for the moist weather slowly lifts out of the area. Onshore flow will remain fairly strong as there is a pressure gradient of ~8mbs from San Diego (1012.8)to Daggett (1005.0) this morning. Some areas will have gusty SW winds over the next couple of days especially along and near the ridges as the low moves out.
Temperatures today will be cool with highs expected to be from 55-62* locally, and from 60-65* in Big Bear where the skies will be clear today. Monday will also be a cool day with temperatures a little warmer with highs in the 65-72* range across the mountain. The Marine layer should remain below 3500′ in the morning.
Tuesday through Saturday, temperatures will warm up substantially as a 596dm High moves over the area. The Marine layer will retreat back to the Coast. Clear skies will be the forecast for the work week ahead. At this time, there doesn’t appear to be any Monsoonal Moisture for SoCal through the week ahead. So temperatures will be on the rise, but the humidity levels should remain comfortable. Carlotta, off of Mexico still a Tropical Storm will not make Hurricane status and will dissipate over the next couple of days. For the Gulf of Mexico, a Tropical Disturbance will move into the Western Gulf region over the next couple of days as a Tropical Storm as well.
Have a good day! RC
