Firefighters put car fire out Quickly on Highway 18

This Article is Brought To You By Kaila Brooks Realtor Dre# 02007870 At 3:31 PM a Blue scion was traveling up bound Highway 18 near upper Waterman Canyon when for unknown reasons started smoking. The occupants were able to get out of the vehicle before it caught fire and spread to brush nearby. Medic engine 25 and us forest service arrived on scene and were able to put the fire out quickly. Good Samaritans were also seen putting water on fire before fire department arrived.It is unknown at this time if any patients were treated or transported. California Highway Patrol is conducting the investigation. Don’s Auto recovered the Vehicle. Highway 18 which was closed to one lane for a short period is back open.
