TODAY’S WEATHER DISCUSSION AND FORECAST:

Good Morning.
..This morning we have clear skies across most all of SoCal with the exception of the immediate Coastline. A very weak pressure gradient between the Coast and the Desert is creating a weak onshore flow this morning.
High pressure will slowly make its way over SoCal today. This will bring in slightly warmer temperatures for Today, and Sunday. We will continue to have mostly clear skies with only occasional high clouds flowing through the upper atmosphere. There may be a few cumulus clouds form over the some of the local Ridges, but no Thunderstorms are expected for the next four days. The Monsoonal flow has shifted, and will not affect our area until around Wednesday of next week.
..A trough of Low pressure is developing off of the Pac-NW and will have a slight effect on our weather here for Monday and Tuesday. This will be the driving mechanism to push the area of High pressure, back to the Four Corners Region early next week.
.. High temperatures should peak tomorrow, then a slight cooling trend will begin for our area into next week.
..That’s it for now. *RC
