Local Lake Reports

Big Bear Lake:

Shore anglers have been doing well in the early morning by the Dam, Windy Point and Juniper Point. Inflated nightcrawlers and a variety of colors and scents of power bait are the ticket. Rig of choice is Carolina rig with a 3 to 4 ft. leader. Water temps are up so fish the shady spots or cast out deep.

Green Valley Lake:

Fishing has been decent. Anglers have been doing well on the North and South shores on both sides of dam in the early morning and early evening. Berkley micetails, power bait and jigs are getting bit. CDFW is scheduled to stock trout next week.

Arrowbear Lake:

Arrowbear Lake is scheduled to stock rainbow trout next week.

Lake Gregory:

Shore anglers have been doing well in front of senior center in the early morning and early evening. Berkley micetails and power bait on Carolina rig are the ticket. CDFW is scheduled to stock rainbow trout next week.

Silverwood Lake:

Still trout swimming around. Striper and catfish are being caught off the marina dock using cut bait and scented nightcrawlers.

Catch of the Week

This weeks catch of the week is Mountain Top Anglers member George Aguilar with a nice rainbow trout caught at Green Valley Lake on a pink trout worm by the dam.
