Last week I had the opportunity to talk with Carly Korn and Wes Arbaca about Run Through the Pines’ upcoming 40th anniversary. In preparation for the event, volunteers painted the Run Through the Pines logo at the Lake Gregory Education and Community Center.
Run Through the Pines is an annual community event open to both locals and visitors, where participants run around the span of Lake Gregory. The event takes place on August 10th and will feature both a 5K and a 10K.
Runners should be sure to get plenty of sleep the night before! Check-in for the event starts at 6:00 am with the first race beginning at 7:00 am. Trophies will be handed out to the first-place runners in the 5K and 10K.
