TODAY’S WEATHER DISCUSSION AND FORECAST:

Good Morning.
..Looks like we have weathered our first real heat wave of this Summer. Things will begin to cool slightly today then much more for Thursday then through the weekend.
The Sub Tropical High that has brought us the heat wave will begin to weaken later today. A Long wave Trough will move in from the North tomorrow spreading cooler temperatures across the whole Western part of the Country.
..Then another wave in the trough will pass through Friday helping to further deepen the Marine layer along with more cooling of daytime temperatures.
..This will help push the Marine layer further Inland, so we can expect to see Fog along the front side of the mountain Friday and Saturday mornings. For the local area we will continue to have clear skies with cooler temperatures and gusty winds at times through the weekend. Daytime temperature should be in the low to mid 70s by Friday and through the next five days.
..Have a great day! *RC

Yesterday’s High and Low temperatures were:
Crestline-90/57*, Twin Peaks-84/65*, Lk Arrowhead-85/65*, Running Springs-80/65*, Big Bear-80/45*, GVL-80/50*, San Berdo-111/65*, Wtrmn Cyn-98/61*.

..On the main page of the website, www.lakegregoryweather.com I have added two live webcam views, one of Lake Gregory pointing North, and the other facing Southeast toward Waterman canyon. These are very helpful for the drive up and down the hill. If the camera view is gray, that means it’s foggy.

..Be sure to check out the other pages on the website for the Latest on El Nino, live webcams from around the area, live Radar, Satellite loops, Traffic conditions, along with live Weather conditions, and a live view of Lake Gregory from my weather station at the South side of the lake. Have a good Day! *RC
