At 8:09 PM on Monday, a call went in to 911 dispatch of a 2 vehicle traffic collison on Paradise Way and Elysian Blvd in Big Bear City.
A red Hyundai Elantra was pulling off of a side street when a white Mitsubishi lancer hit the Hyundai from behind sending it off the side of the road. A 19 year old driver in the Hyundai was transported with minor injuries to a nearby hospital. A female passenger with two small children signed an AMA on scene and refused transport.
The female driver in the Mitsubishi also declined medical treatment at the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation at this time by California Highway Patrol.
