Maifest… Oktoberfest in May, in Big Bear

Coming out to enjoy the second annual Maifest! Oktoberfest in May? HECK YES.

Maifest is a traditional celebration of Spring in Germany. Even though Maifest is much smaller than our Oktoberfest, it still offers all the same fun and much more!

Some special activities that are included are may bock beer, maypole dancers and the maibowle punch. A German band, indoor and outdoor entertainment, a children’s area, special contests, and a wonderful German Cuisine are all adventures to be had at Maifest!

There will also be an exclusive performance by Die Gemütlichen Schühlplattler Dancers, and we encourage you to dress up in traditional German attire!

Special weekend lodging prices as well as admission packages will be available at Big Bear Cool Cabins. There will also be a complimentary shuttle included that will be available both Saturday and Sunday. This shuttle will take you place-to-place within the Big Bear Valley and will continue through 11:30pm. If you are looking for a ride to Maifest, Dial-a-ride is available for just $5 a person.

To reserve, please call 909-878-5200. Tickets for this legendary event are as follows: Adults 13 yrs-61 yrs is $9 seniors 62 yrs+ is $6. Children 12 and under are free. If you wanted to purchase a Two-Day Weekend ticket it would be $14 per adult and $8 per senior.

This event will be happening on Memorial Day weekend. May 25-26, 2019. The business hours will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25 and the fun continues through 11:00 pm. Sunday May 26th from 2:00 pm until 11:00pm.

It will be located at Wyatt’s Grill & Saloon, 42900 Big Bear Blvd, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. It will be chilly up in our beautiful mountains so make sure to bring a jacket!
